Koray is a senior undergraduate student who is currently working on the molecular characterization of the ribosomal cistron region in Orthoptera, specifically focusing on the subfamily Tetriginae. His research involves generating nuclear ribosomal cistron sequences from Tetrix bolivari, a species representative of this subfamily, to analyze the characteristics of mitogenomes. Koray is set to continue his studies at Uppsala University and Texas A&M University, further expanding his research in evolutionary genomics.
